Nyali Reefs Resort faced severe rising damp along all ground-floor ocean-view villa walls. Pushing seawater tables saturated the coral brick masonry, carrying mineral salts upwards. Upon evaporating, these salts expanded, destroying the interior plaster, bubbling paintwork, and producing musty odors.
Phemat installed a new chemical Damp Proof Course (DPC) line. We drilled horizontal holes along mortar bed joints and injected silicone-barrier micro-emulsions. This created a continuous water-repellent barrier. We stripped the contaminated salty plaster, treated the core masonry with salt neutralizers, and replastered with salt-retardant breathing mortar.
Salty sea air and porous coral stones utilized in old build structures accelerated moisture climb rates rapidly.
Installed structural silicone barriers along the base walls. The microscopic molecules linked chemically to create a permanent hydrophobic horizontal membrane inside the walls from ground level up.
"Our villas have been free of dampness and peeling paint for two seasons now. Phemat saved our luxury beachfront properties from constant maintenance cycles."
